Qualification System

The quota available to each NOC is determined by the final World Cup Nations Cup Ranking from the season prior to the YOG (2010 - 2011 season). Places 1-20 get two quota spots, while spots 21-29 get one.If the host country is ranked from place 1 to 20 in the Men’s or Women’s Nations Cup score in the season prior to the YOG, has the right to enter two (2) athlete entries each. If the host country is ranked from place 20 to 29 in the Men’s or Women’s Nations Cup score in the season prior to the YOG, it has the right to enter one (1) athlete each. Should the host nation qualify through the above qualification system, then the place will be reallocated to the NOC ranked 30th in the Nation Cup Ranking.If the host country is ranked 30th or below in the Men’s or Women’s Nations Cup score, it will have the right to enter one (1) athlete each.[2]
